1.Who offers Autis
Autis is a product of Hyperz Tech SpA (hyperz.tech), a company incorporated in Chile, which develops and operates it. In these terms, “we” means Hyperz Tech SpA and “you” means the person using Autis or the person who supports them and manages their profile. Contact is through the form at beautis.ai.
2.What Autis is, and what it is not
Autis is a daily life support tool for autistic people and for those who support them: a personal Manual, a record of how you are, calming strategies, a crisis mode to ask for help, communication tools and an artificial intelligence companion. Autis is not a medical device, does not diagnose, does not treat any condition and does not replace a health professional or a person. Autis is not an emergency service: crisis mode helps you alert the people you chose and shows you the emergency number and helplines, but you make the call and send the message from your phone, and help is provided by those people or services, not by us. If you are in danger, call your country’s emergency number.
3.Artificial intelligence
Some features use language models: the conversation with your companion, the translator and the scripts. Those answers are generated by a machine from what you write: they may be incorrect or incomplete, and the app says so every time a conversation starts. Responses to a sign of risk are not generated by artificial intelligence: they are fixed texts, written in advance. Before the first cloud feature, the app asks for your agreement and explains what leaves your phone and what does not; you can withdraw it at any time and the app keeps working in what matters. What the artificial intelligence proposes is a proposal: the decision to note something in your Manual, send a message or follow a strategy is always yours.
4.Your account
Autis works without an account. If a feature needs one, the app asks for it at that moment and explains why. If you have one, you are responsible for keeping its access secure and you can close it at any time; closing it deletes what we store for it. If we believe an account is being used against these terms or puts another person at risk, we may suspend it; we will tell you and you will be able to respond.
5.Minors
A profile for a person under 14 is created and managed by a responsible adult, through the “I support someone” entry. Between 14 and 17 the person uses their own profile and decides what to share. Whoever creates a profile for a minor declares to be their legal guardian or to act with their authorisation.
6.Your data and your content
What you write, record or capture in Autis is yours. It lives encrypted on your phone and we do not read it: our servers store only what you decide to send, under the conditions described in the privacy policy at beautis.ai/en/privacy, which forms part of these terms. We do not use your content to train models without separate, revocable permission. If you lose your phone without a backup, we cannot recover what was on it.
8.Plans
Everything for a crisis (crisis mode, the card for handing over the phone, asking for help, the protocol, the risk screens and the helplines) and the Today planner are free forever, for everyone. The other features can be tried without paying during a trial period that asks for no payment method and ends with no charge; after that they are used with a paid plan. Features using artificial intelligence in the cloud are always paid. Plans are described at beautis.ai/en/pricing. Payments are processed by the app stores or by a payment provider; the price, the currency and how to cancel are shown before you subscribe. Cancelling a plan or the end of the trial neither deletes your data nor removes what is free. No free trial turns into a charge.
9.Acceptable use
Use Autis for yourself or for the person you support with their consent. Do not use it to monitor an adult without their permission, to access another person’s data, to interfere with the service or for unlawful purposes. Any feature that shares something of yours with another person only works with the permissions you gave.
10.Intellectual property and licence
Autis, its name, brand, design, texts and code belong to Hyperz Tech SpA or to those who license them to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Autis under these terms. Your data and your content are not ours: you grant us only the technical permission needed to provide the service you chose (for example, to store encrypted what you share until you withdraw it). If Autis uses third-party content, such as pictograms, it is shown with its licence and attribution.
11.Availability and changes
The app works offline and without our servers for everything essential. Online services may be interrupted for maintenance or failures; we give notice when foreseeable. We may change Autis to improve it; changes that affect how you use the app are announced beforehand, in the app or at beautis.ai. If we were to stop offering an online service, we would give you reasonable notice and you would keep what lives on your phone.
12.Liability
Autis is offered as support, with the care described in these terms, and does not guarantee health outcomes or responses to a request for help, which depend on the people and services you chose. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages caused by our breach. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer or as the owner of your data, which cannot be waived.
13.Termination
You can stop using Autis whenever you want: uninstall the app, which deletes what lives on your phone, and close your account if you had one. We may terminate or suspend the access of anyone who uses Autis against these terms, giving notice and explaining the reason unless the law prevents it.
14.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Chile and any dispute is resolved before the courts of Santiago, Chile, without prejudice to the consumer protection and personal data rules of the country where you live that apply mandatorily.
15.Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will publish the new version at beautis.ai/en/terms with its effective date and, if the change is significant, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. The published version is always the one in force.
