Autis Privacy Policy
Effective 6 November 2026.
Autis is an app for autistic people and the people who support them. This policy says what data it handles, where it lives, who sees it and what rights you have. It is written to be read in full in ten minutes.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is hyperz (HYPERZ TECH SPA, Chilean tax ID 77.921.351-K, Apoquindo 7935, office 410 B, Las Condes, Santiago, Chile), which develops and operates Autis. You can write to us from the contact form at beautis.ai or at nicolas.gunther@hyperz.tech.
2. The principle: your data lives on your phone
Autis works without an account and without a connection. Your Manual, your answers to “How are you right now?”, your daily energy, your strategies, your crisis plans, your help contacts, your phrases, your scripts and your recorded voice are stored encrypted on your device. hyperz has no access to them and cannot recover them if you lose your phone without a backup.
3. What leaves your phone, and only if you decide
Account (optional)
- What leaves
- your email
- Where to
- our servers
- How long it is kept
- while the account exists
Backup (optional)
- What leaves
- your data, encrypted with a key only you hold; we cannot read it
- Where to
- our servers
- How long it is kept
- until you delete it or close the account
Sharing your Manual or your status (optional)
- What leaves
- the version you chose, encrypted for the person who receives it, with an expiry date
- Where to
- our servers, end-to-end encrypted
- How long it is kept
- until the expiry you set or until you revoke it
Asking for help
- What leaves
- that you need help, your location at that moment and your crisis card
- Where to
- the contacts you chose, by text message or through the app
- How long it is kept
- the message stays on the recipient’s phone; our servers do not store the location
Audio sample during a help request (optional, you allow it each time)
- What leaves
- up to 15 seconds of audio
- Where to
- encrypted, to the trusted person who asked
- How long it is kept
- deleted when played or after 10 minutes; not stored on your phone or on our servers
Cloud AI features (translator, scripts, conversation with your company)
- What leaves
- only the text needed for that feature, never your full Manual
- Where to
- our server and the language model provider
- How long it is kept
- hyperz does not store the content; the provider does not use it to train its models
Anonymous usage numbers (optional, off by default)
- What leaves
- how many people use each feature and when, with nothing that identifies you
- Where to
- our servers
- How long it is kept
- aggregated; never per person
Contact form
- What leaves
- your name if you give it, your email and your message
- Where to
- hyperz email
- How long it is kept
- as long as needed to reply
Before any of these features sends anything, the app tells you and asks for permission. You can remove each permission in Settings, in two taps, and see every access to what you shared under “Who saw what”.
4. Sensors
If you turn them on, Autis uses the microphone to measure ambient volume (it does not record or send sounds), the light sensor, the accelerometer to guide your breathing, and the camera to estimate your pulse with a finger on the lens. Everything is processed on your phone. Location is used only when you ask for help or enter crisis mode, and stops when that ends. Each sensor is switched on and off separately, and the app shows a dot while one is in use.
5. Health data
What you record in Autis may be health information. That is why processing rests on your explicit consent, given feature by feature and withdrawable at any time, without the app ceasing to work for the essentials. We never sell your data, we never show advertising, and we never use your data to train models without separate, revocable permission.
6. Children and teenagers
A profile for a person under 14 is created and managed by their parent or legal guardian, who gives consent. Between 14 and 18 the person manages their own profile and decides what to share; for health data of people under 16, the legal guardian gives consent. Autis is designed so that control passes to the person as they grow, and so that they always see what each member of their circle sees about them.
7. Your rights
You can access your data, correct it, export it in open formats (JSON, Open Board Format, PDF) and truly delete it, from the app, without asking us. If you have an account, you can close it, and your backup and what you shared are deleted with it. For any other right your country’s law gives you, write to us; we reply within the legal deadline. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your country’s data protection authority; in Chile, the Agencia de Protección de Datos Personales.
8. Where data is stored
The data you choose to send is hosted by cloud providers under contract with hyperz, which may be outside your country. It travels and is stored encrypted. Providers cannot read your backup or what you share end to end.
9. Security
Encryption on your device with keys you control; encryption in transit; end-to-end encryption for what you share; an access log you can see; hyperz team access only to aggregated numbers, never to a person. If an incident affects your data, we tell you in the app and, where the law requires, the authority.
10. If Autis ceases to exist
The app keeps working without our servers and you can export everything. It is a public commitment.
11. Changes to this policy
If it changes, we tell you in the app before the change applies, with what changed and why. The current version is always at beautis.ai/en/privacy, with its date.
